Green & White Styled Shoot

As wedding professionals, we often get asked if it's hard working a weekend job. Many things come to mind when trying to answer that question:

We adore our clients.

We get to work in the most beautiful spaces.

We get to eat CAKE.

But mostly, it doesn't feel like a job because each weekend we get to work with the most bomb wedding professionals! Working with your friends doesn't make it feel much like work. It is especially fun when we are able to collaborate outside of scheduled weddings to get our creative juices flowing for a styled shoot.

For this green & white inspired shoot, we had the pleasure of checking out 8th & Main in Grandview, MO. We had so much fun getting to see the venue and learn about their history. FUN FACT: this gorg wedding venue used to be a bank; you can get ready with your gals in the old vault!

My favorite addition to this space is the courtyard. Equipped with Edison Bulb string lights, a cozy fire pit & an incredible arbor-it truly is a turn key space!

Adding greenery to the modern horizontal fence created a pop of color and personal touch. Not to mention the bouquet bursting with texture!

Whenever planning an outdoor event it's always stressful having to think about a "plan b", right? Not here! 8th & Main provides three incredible spaces for events- their vault room (pictured above), the courtyard and an indoor reception space...fabric backdrop and all!

We stuck to a green & white theme for the most part, but when brainstorming what sweet we wanted there was no competition against this fluffy pink treat!

So....is working a weekend job hard? Sometimes. But, is it worth it? Abso-freaking-lutely.

STAY WILD.
