Lexi + Decker

We're absolutely in LOVE with Lexi and Decker's gorgeous wedding at The Austin. The venue was perfect for their big day - with its mix of modern design, white brick walls and glass garage doors. Located in the Historic Crossroads Arts District of Kansas City, it is absolutely the most setting! An incredible team of vendors came together to make this beautiful wedding a reality - and the result was perfection! THE BRIDE

We had a wonderful experience collaborating with Lexi to bring her vision to life for her special day! Lexi looked absolutely stunning in her strapless white gown, embellished with a lovely bow on the back, courtesy of Bridal Extraordinaire. Her hair was elegantly styled by Alex Compton/Gutherie, and Gina Holmberg worked her magic on Lexi's makeup - needless to say, she was radiant! Lexi added a touch of elegance with diamond and pearl earrings. Her bridal bouquet was the perfect addition, featuring long-stemmed white roses, a fresh and modern trend that we are truly excited about!

THE DETAILS

Lexi and Decker radiated a captivating, timeless elegance that stole the spotlight on their special day! Their unique style and charm set them apart, making their wedding truly unforgettable! Decker's boutonniere featured a single white rose, a theme that matched Lexi's bridal bouquet. These elements embodied a delightful, understated elegance that beautifully contrasted with the vibrant pink florals that adorned the rest of the event!

THE CEREMONY

The ceremony was a breathtaking sight, adorned with low floral arrangements surrounding the couple and lining the aisle. These arrangements combined vibrant greenery with bursts of various pink shades, resulting in a charming blend of colors. The whimsical greenery not only added dimension, but also a pleasing texture to the overall decor. Against this enchanting backdrop of coordinated pink blooms, Lexi and Decker shared their vows with their beloved friends and family, creating a dreamy and romantic atmosphere!

THE RECEPTION

After the outdoor ceremony, everyone headed inside to continue the celebration. Inside, the tables were set beautifully! Each table had a centerpiece of varying heights, which added a sense of depth and interest to the room. The tall centerpieces with their lush flowers and playful greenery, were placed on clear glass stands, directing everyone's gaze upward toward the high ceilings. Other tables featured bud vases, each holding a varying pink blooms. These colorful touches stood out against the white brick walls, beautifully complementing the pink accents. We always enjoy working at The Austin - as it is a clean and distinctive space, which pairs wonderfully with so many styles of floral design! Plus, we had the pleasure of creating wreath collars for their furry friends – it's always heartwarming when couples involve their pets in their big day!
