Sarah + Zach

These bright pops of pink have us SWOONING over Sarah + Zach’s stunning wedding day at Oakwood Country Club. It was the perfect setting for this couple's wedding day–the inside is a mix of clean white lines and dark wood with high vaulted ceilings, and surrounded by views of the Oakwood golf course. What more could a girl ask for? A dream team of vendors came together to execute this colorful wedding and they did not disappoint! THE BRIDE

We absolutely loved working with Sarah to complete her vision for the day! Sarah looked radiant in this classic A-line gown from Bridal Extraordinaire. It paired perfectly with the wispy veil cape that added the perfect amount of romance to the look. Her hair and make-up were styled by Bronzed and Blushed and we can all agree…she was GLOWING! She completed the look with pearl statement earrings. Sarah carried the pearls throughout her entire wedding look from her earrings to her veil to her shoes…and we LOVE the end result! For her bridal bouquet, we put together a colorful mix of blooms in pinks, peaches and oranges with pops of yellow and mixed greenery to add texture. We included garden roses, peonies, ranunculus, tulips, sweet pea, and lisianthus in her floral collection.

THE DETAILS

Sarah + Zach intentionally planned ways to add personal touches into their wedding day. Their wedding invitations reflected the classic, elegant feel of the wedding, completed with a customized wax seal. Zach’s boutonniere brought in peach tones and colorful textures that were carried through to Sarah’s bridal bouquet. Mariam Saifan Photography created this beautiful flatlay and accented it with loose pink blooms from the floral collection.

THE CEREMONY

This colorful, lush square arbor was a show stopping backdrop for the wedding ceremony. It popped against the views of the golf course behind. The arbor was designed with hydrangea, stock, dark pink astilbe, scabiosa and a variety of garden roses consisting of Free Spirits, Pink Floyds, Shimmers and more. The mix of whimsical greenery added lots of texture and depth to the design. The bright summer blooms made for the dreamiest spot for Sarah + Zach to say their “I dos” in front of all their friends and family.

THE RECEPTION

Following the outdoor ceremony, guests moved the party inside. Guests entered the room to find perfectly set tables with ivory linens and clear glass chargers with a gold beaded edge. Each table contained a floral centerpiece of a varying height, which added to the dimension and drama of the room. We loved how these tall centerpieces drew your eye upwards towards the vaulted ceilings. The tall centerpieces with lush blooms and whimsical greenery were placed on tall gold sculpture stands and the low and lush centerpieces were placed in low gold Oscar bowls. The pops of color were stunning against the white walls, perfectly complemented with the gold accents. We love getting to work at Oakwood Country Club because of the crisp backdrop and unique space–it always pairs so well with our floral designs. We can’t forget about the customized cake topper–quite the resemblance! It is always so fun when couples involve their pets in the big day! We added colorful blooms to the 3-tier cake by Oakwood Country Club.
