Early this spring our team began dreaming of a whimsical and western two-part styled shoot inspired by Yellowstone and the beautiful growth of springtime! Part one of our shoot took place on the Wild Hill property with some of the sweetest flower shop animals. We then took a trip over to Oakwood Country Club, where Jenni had been dreaming of a dramatic floral installation designed just for this stunning space! We teamed up with the talented, Brigitte Patterson Photography, and a top-notch group of Kansas City vendors (see below for the amazing team) to bring this idea to life. We are so excited to share the images from this special collaboration! Keep scrolling for all the Yellowstone-whimsical-western-wedding inspiration you didn’t know you needed!
For the bridal bouquet we combined ruffly garden roses in shades of pink, mauve and toffee, with butterfly ranunculus, chocolate Queen Anne’s lace, lisianthus and more! The delicate floral details along the bridal gown from Something White Bridal Boutique were the perfect compliment!
Some of our favorite pieces from this day were the little details: from the custom Kemo Sabe Minturn hat with floral details and velvet ribbon wrapped braid by Posh KC, to the calligraphy banner by Yellow Brick Graphics draped over Wild Hill horse, Penny.
It truly wouldn’t be a Wild Hill shoot, without sneaking in some shots of the animals of Wild Hill. If you are looking to incorporate a furry friend on your wedding day, you can be confident that we are ready to adorn them in flowers, whether they are a small Pomeranian or full size horse!
Part two of our shoot at Oakwood Country Club was just as dreamy as our outdoor portion! This dramatic floral installation was designed just for this space to climb down from the balcony of Oakwood and create an organic and whimsical ceremony focal point. If you’ve got a wild idea for your wedding or you want our team to dream one up for you, we are always ready for the challenge!
We can’t thank our vendor team enough for making this dream a reality! See below for the full talented lineup! Interested in learning more about becoming a Wild Hill Bride? Fill out our Wedding Questionnaire by clicking below!
